This is a question that gets plenty of review. The answer is basically no. There are many products such as Gas4Free and HHO Booster that show the owner how to use the power of the engine to break down water into a hydrogen gas. Your engine can do that. But it takes energy.

Sadly, it takes more energy to break water apart into a hydrogen gas than the released hydrogen gas can add back to improve engine MPG. The process is a net consumer of energy, not a net provider. That means you will not get better MPG from adding one of these water to fuel systems to your car. We wish it were possible, but it is not.
